Pssssst… when you look at the photos from our events below and compare the total written on the ‘big check’ to what we share that we raised, you may notice it doesn’t always match up. Why is that? Well, we write the total # raised in real-time at the events on the checks when we announce the winner. After the event is over and folks share on social media, in the newspaper, and on TV, sometimes we receive additional late donations. The total written under each photo is our final total raised. 🙂

$8025 was raised at the August 2024 meeting. $7025 was awarded to MOV Fellowship Home, $500 was awarded to Betsey Mills Club, and $500 was awarded to Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg.

$7,460 was raised at the April 2024 meeting. $5,535 was awarded to EVE Inc. and $1,925 was awarded to MOV’n Dragons.

$7,025 was raised at the October 2023 meeting for Jess’ House (Perfect Purpose Incorporated)

$10,200 was raised at the July 2023 meeting for House to Home, operated by the Parkersburg Area Coalition for the Homeless.

$7,100 was raised at the April 2023 meeting for Jon Six Food Ministry.

$6,350 was raised at the January 2023 meeting for the Special Olympics of Washington County.

$4,475 was raised at the October 2022 meeting for River City Farmer’s Market. In addition, Peoples Bank generously donated $1,000 to C.A.R.E and $1,000 to the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg.

$6,300 was raised at the July 2022 meeting for Kelly’s Closet.

$4,390 was raised at the April 2022 meeting for Gospel Mission Pantry.

$4,020 was raised at the January 2022 meeting for Latrobe Street Mission.

$4,625 was raised at the October 2021 meeting for The Children’s Listening Place, Inc.
